The Single Register for Tourist Rentals refers to a system promoted by the European Union aimed at regulating and monitoring the market for short-term or tourist rental properties.
Its main objective is to ensure transparency within the sector, fostering a safer environment for property owners, tenants, and rental platforms.
It is the responsibility of the property owner to request the assignment of a Rental Registration Number. This number certifies that the property complies with local, national, and European regulations.
To obtain the number and complete the registration in the Single Register for Tourist Rentals, it is mandatory to have a valid Tourist License. If you do not yet have one, don’t worry — we will handle the entire process for you.
Once the Rental Registration Number has been obtained, it must be submitted to the platform where the property is listed, whether it’s Airbnb, Booking.com, or any other rental platform.
Please note that starting July 1, 2025, platforms will be legally required to automatically remove listings that do not have a valid registration number.
